Now I sit in the sand and listen to the salty tales that the water tells me and drink so much I can't even speak
So the waves retreated and the wind stopped blowing and the only blue thing I thought worth can't stand the sight of me saying I'm an awful state to be in
I wish I was worth it

Now every day is getting dimmer and the words I write can't hold any truth
My selfishness exceeds these verses and you're telling me that I look thinner
But vanity's not a good color I've been looking for blue but been wearing yellow
It's been an hour and I'm still in the mirror, it's gotten late, I guess I missed dinner
And I have missed calls from all the people I miss, it's not personal just lost my interest in life
